Our law student narratives describe a wide range of experiences at Roger Williams University School of Law.

Who are the bloggers?

Majessire Smith is a 3L who works closely with Lorraine Lalli in the Office of Diversity and Outreach to create programs to increase and foster diversity at the School of Law. She is also the President of the Multi-Cultural Law Students Association (MCLSA) and an active member of the Black Law Students Association. Majessire is from Connecticut and earned a B.A. in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Hala Furst is a 1L who received a B.A. in Theatre Arts at the University of Minnesota and lived in Minneapolis/ St. Paul for seven years prior to moving to Rhode Island. In the three years between graduating from college and arriving in Bristol, she worked as a hotel concierge for a luxury brand, a loan officer and mortgage broker, a freelance casting agent for a music video network, and an actor - among other things.

Rod Alcidonis is a second year law student from New York City. Rod currently serves as the Chairperson for the Multicultural Law Student Association (MCLSA), Education Committee. His primary responsibility is to plan and organize student conducted educational workshops for the organization. Rod earned a B.S. in Sociology from State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.

Alison Natale is a third year law student who is originally from Yardley, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. She moved to the Rhode Island area to attend college. She graduated from Providence College in 2005 with a degree in Political Science and History, as well as a concentration in Broadcast Journalism.
