The End Has Arrived!

Yes, it is over for me. I took my last final exam two days ago and I am now officially on vacation. On Thursday morning, the first day of my vacation, I woke up at my usual time (7:00) in the morning, trying to think of what I needed to do next for school. It took me a good 48 hours to be convinced that I was really on vacation. This is Law School at its best. I got bugged-down in the routine of reading cases non-stop for a year, and found myself unable to welcome a well deserved break from the process at the end.

The good thing is that I now have two weeks to relax (of course doing things non-law related), until I start work on the 22nd of May. My most enjoyable classes this semester were Criminal Procedure and Trial Advocacy. The reason is very obvious; I really love Criminal Law and Litigation. At the beginning, I was interested in Family Law simply because it is tested on the Pennsylvania bar, but at the end I ended-up enjoying the class very much; it was a lot of fun. Though professional responsibility is an important class for anyone to take, God bless anyone who will have to take it in their Law School career. To me, the subject matter is extremely boring. Since I have to take the MPRE soon though, I still have to remember what I learned. For my non-law school readers, the MPRE is the professional responsibility examination that most States require their applicants to take in order to practice law.

My next post will be on my experience being on the Trial Team this semester.
