Introduction

In a recent moment of clarity it occurred to me that “blogging” is the perfect medium for someone extremely opinionated but not very verbally articulate.  Although the spoken word has its advantages, I personally find that it is somewhat overrated.  If I had my way all of my communication would be through the written word.  Of course, I do not have my way.  But this is my opportunity to opine about life, as it relates to law school of course, using a method ideally suited to my personality.

Life as it relates to law school and law school as it relates to life.  But every now and then I will sneak in some local Rhode Island issues that affect my experiences here at the law school.  In a community this small almost everything that happens affects the law school.  And of course things that happen at the law school affect the community as well.  But I realize that you came to this blog to read about my experiences as a law student.  So I will do my best to resist sounding off about things like Barack Obama’s potential presidential candidacy.  There are other blogs for that, I am sure of it.  And because we are all busy, I will do my best to be brief but insightful and to be succinct while still bringing the appropriate depth to these “discussions.” Lastly, I would caution you not to expect any objective information here.  All of my entries will undoubtedly be dripping with my personal biases and based on my personal perspectives.  But such is the nature of blogging as I understand it.  I hope you will enjoy reading this as much as I will enjoy writing it.
