Student-Faculty Jeopardy ’07—Another Win by the Oldtimers

Well, Jeopardy ’07 was another spirited evening of trivia and despite best efforts by the 1L, 2L, and 3L teams, the faculty walked off with the overall crown again.  The contest was close but I sensed a turning point when Peter “The Brain” Margulies nailed a tough one for the faculty: Tiger Woods’ first name.  (The Answer: “What is Eldrick”…. now you know why he goes by “Tiger”!) In an interview at the postgame festivities, Prof. Margulies attributed his tide-turning answer to “endless hours of Sports Center.” Kudos to all the members of the faculty team: Liz “Lightening” Colt, Jorge “The Hammer” Elorza, Jonathan “G’Dawg” Gutoff, Colleen “Machine Gun” Murphy, and Bobby “Boom Boom” Webster.

The 2Ls had the rowdiest cheering section (and the only costumes), and they pulled ahead in Double Jeopardy, cruising to an easy win of the Grand Prize that is awarded to the highest scoring student team.  Here is a photo of the teams and folks from SPENT, the student group who pulled it all together.
