RWU Law Mighty Quahogs Win the “Battle of Boston”
On October 18 and 19th, the Roger Williams School of Law Quahogs softball team traveled to Joe Moakley Park in South Boston to compete in the “Battle of Boston,” hosted by The New England School of Law. The other New England law schools represented in the tournament were Boston College, Boston University, Northeastern, and Suffolk.
The Roger Williams team was made up of 3Ls Shannon Van Norman, Ben Susman, Kevin Bransley, and Emmet Donnelly; 2Ls Stephanie Koopman, Andrew Buchetto, Bobby Self, and Chris Rogers; and 1Ls Shannon O’Neill and Zach Mandell. The Quahogs won 5 consecutive games to win the entire tournament, defeating BC in the final game. Attached is a photo of the Mighty Quahogs after their final victory.
