A Beautiful Commencement for the Class of ’09
It was a stunningly beautiful day, and Commencement 2009 was a terrific wrap-up for a graduating class that saw its law school reach new heights during their years in Bristol. Among the highlights: multiple opportunities to interact with Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States; record-breaking performance on multiple bar exams; the launch of important new public interest initiatives which helped garner a second place ranking for our public service program among New England law schools; and successful Moot Court Teams, strong performances by The Mighty Quahogs in regional and national softball tournaments, and the first 3 years of Student-Faculty Jeopardy.
“Teacher of the Year” John Chung led the procession, carrying the University Mace, and the attendees heard a terrific Valedictory speech by Jessica Stanford, and saw the award of degrees accompanied by “high fives,” hugs, and the occasional “fist bump” .
Enjoy some photos from that special day.
