1Ls Duel in “Property (Family) Feud” and Bball

The three first year sections of Property taught by Professors Courtney Cahill, Jorge Elorza, and Bruce Kogan met in a joint session for a spirited inter-section game of Property Feud, modeled after the TV game show Family Feud.  Each section selected 5 players to answer questions on Property law based upon survey answers of 100 fictitious law students.

The questions ranged from “Name an element required for a Completed Gift” to “Name something that could sever or end a Joint Tenancy with a Right of Survivorship” to “Name a fictitious name for a parcel of land that might be the subject of a law school Property class hypothetical.” Bruce Kogan served as the MC with Jorge Elorza serving as the timekeeper and judge and Courtney Cahill keeping score.  There were also questions that were not clearly Property related like “Name you hottest professor”.  Professor Cahill’s Section A prevailed and won coffee and pastries to be furnished by Professors Elorza and Kogan at the next early morning class.

In other 1L news, “Logan’s Heroes” won the RWU Intramural championship, besting a team of undergrads.  Here is a picture of the champs with their team trainer and honorary coach.
